He has a loom for making longyi (a typical wrap around Burmese skirt worn by men). He lives with his extended family, including wife, mother, daughters and five grandchildren. While the grandmother sells vegetables in the market, all the adults help to make the longyi – it takes a week to make one, which are then sold in a big market for 65,000ks ($65) each. He has asked for a loan to buy another loom, as only 1-2 people can work at one time. With two looms there could be four people working at once.
